How it works

Cancellations happen. Put the opening to work.

Patcher finds customers with upcoming appointments who could move sooner. You approve the lineup, and Patcher takes care of the follow-up.

  1. 01

    Find the right fit.

Get a shortlist of customers whose appointments fit the opening, with drive time considered when needed.

  2. 02

    Review and approve.

Choose who to contact and in what order before any texts go out.

  3. 03

    Let Patcher follow up.

Customers receive the offer one at a time. When someone accepts, Patcher updates the schedule and stops the outreach.

Common questions about Patcher Connect

Who gets offered an opening?

Customers who already have an upcoming appointment with you and could move into the slot. When your team drives to customers, Patcher also checks the added drive time so the move fits the route. You see the shortlist before anything goes out.

Do I approve messages first?

Yes. Patcher prepares the lineup and you approve it — who to contact and in what order. Nothing is sent until you do. One switch pauses everything, and you can stop the outreach for a single opening on its own.

What happens when a customer accepts?

Their appointment moves into the opening, the change is written back to your scheduler, and Patcher stops contacting anyone else about that slot. The time they left behind is free for someone else.

What does the customer see?

A text with the earlier time and a secure link. The link shows their current appointment next to the new one, and they accept or keep what they have. No app, no login, and every message includes a way to opt out.

How many texts will my customers get?

Only when an opening they fit comes up, and only one customer at a time hears about each opening. A customer who declines isn't asked again until after their next appointment, unanswered offers close on their own so a slot never sits held, and STOP works on any message.

Do I need my customers' permission to text them?

Consent is collected the way your business already does it — your booking or intake terms cover appointment-related texts — and Patcher's first message to each customer states they can reply STOP at any time. Every opt-in and opt-out is logged.

Who is the best fit right now?

Home-service teams from solo operators to 10-tech fleets with enough cancellations or reschedules that filling them by hand is already a recurring problem. Running more than 10 techs? Book a call and we'll set you up directly.

What schedulers do you support?

MoeGo, Jobber, and Housecall Pro. Jobber connects with one click; MoeGo and Housecall Pro connect with an API key from your account (Housecall Pro makes its API available on its top-tier plan). All three get the accepted move written straight back to your schedule.

Does Patcher Connect replace my scheduling system?

No. Patcher Connect works alongside your supported scheduler, filling cancellations and writing accepted appointment changes back to it. If you need booking and scheduling software of your own, Patcher itself is a simple scheduler with cancellation filling built in.

See Patcher's scheduler

How do you count techs?

We count how many techs actually run visits on a typical day, measured over the last 30 days straight from your scheduler — not your roster. Office staff and one-off substitutes don't move you up a tier. Tiers are re-checked monthly: if your team shrinks you drop down right away; you only move up after two months in a row over the line.

When does my trial start?

When you connect your scheduler — not when you sign up. So you don't burn days on an empty product.

What happens at the end of the trial?

Your trial runs 14 days or until Patcher fills your first $500 — whichever comes first. If nothing has been filled yet, it extends itself to 30 days. After that, new offers pause until you add a payment method; anything already sent still completes and your dashboard stays open.

Fill your next cancellation faster.

Connect your scheduler, approve the lineup, and let Patcher handle the follow-up.
